The Russian president Dmitri Medvedev was the guest of our Belgian authorities during the 26th European/Russian council held on December 7th and 8th in the Belgian capital.

On December 7th  the Russian president participated in a work group to manage the integration  of the Russian state in the World Commercial Organisation.

On December 8th, after a meeting with King Albert II, some economic and commercial agreements were signed by both parties. This was also the opportunity to talk about common realisations on different projects about energy, high-end technologies, investments and culture.

The four unusual planes of the Russian delegation where parked on the tarmac of the 15th Transport Wing of Melsbroek Air Base, again a great challenge for the new BruMil terminal.
