Valenciennes-Prouvy: a northern village of France, baking in the sun like some of the most beautiful beaches along the Mediterranean Sea and on the eve of the national holiday, in a country where those words still mean something. That was the painting that depicts the aerodrome of Valenciennes-Prouvy, where an annual meeting was held, which is well known throughout the aeronautical world. A meeting with a friendly atmosphere, and it must be said, the flight schedule of the day has a lot to do with that! Including radio-controlled model jets, classic airplanes as well as last generation fighters. Indeed, aside from some very nice local planes, such as the Piper Cub and other Pitts, the program sported the presence of our national "Grat", and the famous SAR demo of our good old guardian angels of Koksijde, the Seaking. The presence of the aerobatic team of the Armée de l'Air displaying their manoeuvers on a very high level. One of its members is still in his training, and made an enormous progress in just several minutes. Isn't that so, "Raloche"? Let's not forget the Rafale Solo Display. « Tao » gave a powerful display. The icing on the cake was the presence of the Patrouille de France, who warmed the hearts of our French friends with pride, thanks to their mastery, and their smoke trails in the colors blue, white and red. The celebrated Patrouille gave its demonstration in the afternoon, before departing towards Villacoublay, to prepare for the aerial parade of the 14th of July. So the privilege to close off the meeting went to "Tao". It was once again an interesting occasion to meet interesting people, moved by their passion for aviation, like the father of the well-known Teddy Bear "Rafalou". All in one, a very professionally organized meeting, by a handful of passionates. SBAP wants to thank the organization for the facilities provided during the day. In particular, Monsieur Pierre Deprez, "Le Patron", Bruno, press responsible and a wink to the Armée de l'Air, who allowed our team to occupy the roof terrace of the car-podium, allowing us to get some varied shots. To end off this article and in the wake of the successful show, we can say without a doubt that if you're passionate about something, you can create perfect things. See you in 2014!
