In the early 70's i did the first opendoors and airshows experience...I went to all these events with my brand new Kodak instamatic camera to take pictures of all the planes I loved, especialy the ones of the Belgian Air Force...More than 30 years after this opendoor, when I look to these pictures, I feel a real nostalgia about all those wonderfull planes and my first steps on airfields. Now with the computers, it was time to scan them and try to show the treasures...
The opendoor from 1974 at Koksijde airbase was only axed on the Belgian Air Force, no other foreign plane was present, but it was a great day at the coast...
I would like to present some of these pictures, no good quality, but with great interest for the past...
